Which browsers are supported?

The application works in modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. It is recommended to use the latest browser versions for better performance.

Does the app work on mobile?

Yes, the application is fully adapted for mobile devices. You can upload images, adjust parameters and get instructions directly from your phone or tablet.

What image works best?

Well‑lit face, strong contrast, no heavy filters or watermarks.
Centered portrait with clear details; avoid extreme angles or group photos.
Use the studio preview — what you see is what we produce.

Can I request changes?

You confirm the studio preview before we start production.
After approval, changes are not guaranteed because production is fast.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Duties and local taxes may apply depending on your country.
You will receive tracking and email updates once shipped.

How do I care for the portrait?

Dust gently with a dry microfiber cloth.
Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity.
Mount using reliable wall hardware; keep out of reach of small children.

How to adjust image parameters?

Segments count: Number of thread lines (default 2500)
Zoom: Image scaling
Position: Moving the image using arrows or dragging
Pegs count: Number of nails around the perimeter (default 280)

How to control the image?

Arrows: Moving the image up/down/left/right
Zoom: "+" and "-" buttons for zoom in/out
Dragging: Click and drag the image with the mouse

Image won't upload

Check file format (JPG, PNG, GIF)
Make sure the file is not corrupted

Thread length displays incorrectly

Length is calculated automatically based on real data

Kit Mode is a special mode for working with ready-made string art kits. In this mode, you can get step-by-step instructions for a specific kit.

How to activate Kit Mode?

Kit Mode is automatically activated when navigating to the page with the parameter ?mode=kit in the URL.

Can I use Kit Mode on mobile?

Yes, Kit Mode is fully adapted for mobile devices. You can enter kit ID, view instructions and track progress directly from your phone or tablet. The interface automatically adjusts to screen size.

How to get instructions for the kit?

Enter the unique kit identifier in the "Enter Kit Identifier from Box" field
Click the "Show Instructions" button
An interactive studio with step-by-step instructions will open

How does the progress system work?

Auto-save: Progress is automatically saved at each step
Resume: When re-entering the same kit ID, you will continue from the same place
Reset: The "Reset Progress" button allows you to start over
Completion: Completed kits are no longer available for work

What does the instructions studio show?

Timer: Time working on the kit (pause when closed, continue when opened)
Thread length: Real amount of thread used in meters
Progress: Visual progress indicator and completion percentage
Navigation: Previous, current and next nails
Counter: Current step out of total

How to navigate through instructions?

Buttons: "← Previous" and "Next →"
Keyboard:
- Left/right arrows or A/D for navigation
- Escape to close the studio
Auto-save: Each action is automatically saved

Clearing the browser will remove this data.

Instructions studio does not open

Make sure the kit ID is entered (minimum 3 characters).
Check that an image is uploaded.
Refresh the page and try again.

Progress is not saved

Ensure localStorage is enabled in your browser.
Check that the browser is not in Incognito/Private mode.
Try another browser.

For working with kits:

Keep your kit ID noted.
Work in good lighting.
Follow the instructions carefully.
Use high‑quality 0.08 mm thread.
Estimated build time: 4–8 hours (depends on complexity).

Save time:
